Weitzman ECHO Diabetes and Weight Management is designed for providers and care team members working in primary care settings with underserved populations. The faculty includes an endocrinologist, primary care physician, dietitian, pharmacist, and behavioral health specialist. During each session, these subject-matter experts provide guidance from a multidisciplinary perspective to address patients’ complex health needs related to type 2 diabetes and weight management. This ECHO series meets twice-monthly over Zoom for seven months and covers topics such as the biology of diabetes and obesity, weight inclusive care, medication management, and comorbidities.
