The Advanced Primary Care ECHO Psychiatry Module demonstrated statistically significant improvements in learners’ knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy in areas such as managing psychiatric crises and screening patients.
Delivered between February and May 2022 as one component of the Weitzman Institute’s HRSA-funded Telehealth Technology-Enabled Learning Program (TTELP), this live series aimed to improve rural health outcomes across the country by enabling primary care providers to deliver evidence-based adult mental health treatment. Each one-hour ECHO session consisted of a didactic followed by a case presentation shared by participants for discussion.
