Spring Raymond is the Grants Administrator for Community Health Center, Inc. and its Weitzman Institute. In this role, she manages a portfolio of state, federal and private funding exceeding $14,000,000. She supports in the preparation and submission of funding proposals to federal and non-federal granting agencies; providing guidance for administrators, faculty, and staff in the application process for funding. She manages all aspects of the grants process from pre-award to project closeout.
Spring brings over twenty years of grant writing, accounting and award management expertise to the Community Health Center, Inc. Before coming to the Community Health Center, Inc. in 2014, Spring was a Grants & Contracts Officer and a Senior Financial Accountant at the University of Hartford. A strong Non-profit accountant she worked managing multiple large nonprofits accounts throughout the state of CT. Spring received her bachelor’s degree in business management from Albertus Magnus College and a master’s in business administration from the University of Hartford.
She is currently on the Executive Board of FAVOR, Inc., an organization that provides CT parents and caregivers of children with mental health needs an opportunity to be part of a unified voice. Spring has been a Coordinator for the annual Point-in-Time-Count for New London County, Member and Chairman of the Gaps & Needs Committee, Member of the Business Advisory Board for Community Enterprises, Inc. and a Member of the Partnership to End Homelessness, actively participating in both the budget and grant writing sub-committees.
